Jaŭhien Aniščanka. A military raid of Michał Kleafas Ahinski into Minsk region in 1794

The article deals with one episode of the Tadeusz Kaściuszka uprising against Russian Imperia in 1794 – an armed raid of the duke Michal Kleafas Ahinski into the Polish-Lithuanians territory occupied by Russian. The published and archived materials are used for the detailed illumination of circumstances and results of those events token place near Minsk in today’s Belarus. The campaign of the famous composer was connected with the plan to raise a mass revolt but it failed. The failure of this raid determined to some extent the defeat of the uprising on the whole.
